Agnieszka has been a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Private Law at Leiden University since January 2023. Prior to that she worked at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and the European University Institute in Florence. She was also a fellow at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin and a visiting researcher at several research centres, including the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.

Agnieszka holds a PhD degree in law from the University of Lodz and an LL.M. from the EUI. She has been studying the intersection of (consumer) law and technology, combining doctrinal approaches with legal informatics. In the Consumer ID project she explores the relationship between consumer identities and European private law, drawing from identity research as well as historical and comparative approaches. Besides, Agnieszka is interested in the motivational drives behind sustainable consumption and their relation to identities.
